WE BEGIN BY DEVELOPING a thorough understanding of our client with an emphasis on knowing your business(s), objectives, goals and plans, and overall needs. We also gain insight. into your management style, culture, and philosophy.

Next, we create a comprehensive search plan that reflects the combined thinking of our client and our firm. This mutuality of purpose leads to more efficient and effective searches and greater ultimate success. We establish the position description and responsibilities, core competencies, standards of performance, an ideal candidate profile, and target compensation components.

Together, we then define target industries, companies, functions, associations, and network sources from which we collectively believe the most suitable candidates will be found.

Once our search preparation is complete we are ready to proceed to:

 

Conduct comprehensive original targeted research

  • Identify potential high performance executive talent
  • Make contact
  • Explore suitability of candidates for position while protecting the confidentiality of our client
  • Determine level of interest and criteria for career change decision

 

Evaluate candidates

  • Extensive personal interviews with selected executives
  • Develop short list (3-5 maximum) and present written descriptions of selected high performance candidates to client
  • Coordinate interview process between client and candidates
  • Perform reference investigations

 

Select candidate

  • Assist client in evaluating company interview results to make selection

 

Recruit candidate

  • Understand the candidate's motivation for a career change
  • Find the fit between the career aspirations of the candidate and the position
  • Achieve acceptance of the company offer
  • Follow-up with the chosen executive and company management over time to help with the transition and troubleshoot any problems that may arise.
